Pros

Very fun, young culture - culture has drastically shifted in the last 2-3 years to be more positive. People are super friendly here and genuinely want to help you. If you're in sales, you can make a LOT of money depending on the market. If you are not in sales, you can grow very quickly if you prove your worth, and you do not deal with red tape like you would in a larger company. Managers overall care and advocate for their employees. Women have been promoted into a lot of leadership roles and a lot more women have been hired, including in sales - Fusion used to be a boys club and now is not. If you are in sales or purchasing you will work with a lot of men - if you are not in those departments, your teams are more evenly split or predominantly women.

Cons

There's no work from home flexibility, period. People get upset about this because they think they can eventually get it - you won't. Strict working hours (8-5 or 9-6). Culture can seem informal and less organized to someone who is used to working at big corporations. A lot of pressure on sales teams to bring in money (coming from upper management) - if you are not someone who thrives on metrics and don't like to cold call/prospect every day, this isn't the job for you. If you are going to work in sales and purchasing and are a woman, you need to be prepared that the teams are predominantly male if you are not used to that.

Thanks for your review! It is definitely a challenge and it won't come easy. We have the privileged of uncapped commission which really pays off! We strive to have a great office culture and the location is a very desirable workplace. We're working to have better flexibility/life balance as it's so important. Our CEO, is a big decision maker as he is the founder of Fusion. As for your concern with upper management, they have grown with the CEO over the years to get to where we are now!
