Pros

Most of the coworkers were very friendly and had a strong sense of comrodery as a result. Fully remote work allows for some flexibility. Generally inclusive and diverse.

Cons

The clientele (car dealers) that you work with can at times be both incredibly rude and demanding. The pay for the amount of work and number of hours put in is far below industry average. (Especially for devs) Constant layoffs and downsizing makes it feel as if you're auditioning for your job daily. There's little to no opportunity for upward movement within the company. When it comes to upward mobility most people get a title change, and a small pay bump that barely accounts for the rise of inflation. The management system is generally lacking, using a "POD" system. Rather than report to the head of your respective department, you report to a manager that has been put in place above a group of people all from different departments. Reporting to and having your performance evaluated by someone who has little to no experience working in your area can be frustrating. Overall the auto industry as a whole is on the decline and Fusionzone is not immune to these effects. What was once an inviting company with promise of growth has degraded in to a husk of it's former self. Judging by the general decline in the last few years the best hope Fusionzone has of staying afloat is an acquisition from a former competitor.

Pros

Got to work here for several years. Eventually ended up fully remote. Most of the time it's low-stress.

Cons

Dead end business. Completely incompetent management and Ed has no intention of repairing the company or its reputation. Also he is a compulsive liar. Your best chance at happiness is to just check out mentally.
