      Pros

      Great environment and fun place to work. Not any real office politics.People like to work hard and play hard. Great kicked back office environment. Open minded and liberal employees for the most part.

      Cons

      Magazines are dying but they're doing well with content and some of the digital properties. Have had layoffs because the company was so heavily magazine focused.

      There's a new president and she seems to care about the company, in contrast to the previous executive. (Thumbs down below is based on previous press, this site needs updating)

      Cons

      The company has contracted to a painfully small size, it's unclear how growth will be possible without changing location.

      Pros

      Company generally is very good about avoiding overtime. The place is fairly empty at 5:30pm, and almost no one is around at 6pm. Engineers for public facing sites may work late before launches, but that is to be expected. There are a lot of different publishing groups, and moving to other groups (publishing or non publishing) can happen.

      Cons

      You have to pay attention to how well your group is performing, poor sales can hurt. However, this is true for sales dependent groups at any company.
