Pros

- Good compensation and benefits - Good hiring practices = great coworkers - Self-directed culture gives employees lots of responsibility and trust - Workload is constant but interesting: you get to see the impact you have very quickly - Campus is beatuiful: good places to walk around, hang out, and relax. - Management offers constructive feedback in a timely manner

Cons

Some hierarchical structures within the company are still being defined. This makes them ambiguous, sometimes.

Pros

Great coworkers. Spurs games. Campus is north of the city, so traffic isn't a thing. Very homey feel. Free snacks in the "break room". Great chance to learn very interesting technology in a very niche field.

Cons

I said "break room" before because you get in trouble for taking a break. You think the pay is good until you see how much you work, then you realize it should be hourly because you will almost always be forced to work 50+ hours a week or you will fall behind and get in trouble. Talking pay with coworkers is forbidden and you can be fired for it. Most of the time you are paid solely based on experience and not results. If you are not part of the inner circle, good luck climbing the ranks. The Solutions Architect team are overworked and management refuses to hire extra people. Management prides themselves on only hiring "All Stars" so if you get an offer then they think highly of you. But this means you will go months or sometimes years without replacements. Costumer expectations are always mismanaged and it always adds extra work. Remote work during the pandemic was none existent. WFH started and ended in about 30 days. After that, constant COVID exposures happened and being able to work from home again was extremely difficult.
