Competitive compensation, cutting edge tech, intelligent colleagues, reasonable work/life balance, nice office with good perks.

Overly zealous security culture, pretty large variation across teams in management style and opportunities for advancement.

Pros

G-Research has some of the brightest people in the industry which is great from a learning perspective. They also focus strongly on building a collaborative environment so you don't have the typical cutthroat nature I think you see at some firms in the industry.

Cons

Firm is pretty strict about security, which has it's pros and cons as well. Also it's less known outside the UK so the name brand recognition is still being built up in places like the US.
