Pros

Great colleagues, really positive and supportive work culture, great perks (free lunch and in-house barista) and really strong compensation.

Cons

The ‘work from home’ offering is fairly restrictive and senior management aren’t always ideologically aligned with the majority of the workers.

Pros

I have been at G-Research around 6 months and so far it has been everything I had hoped for. It's rare to find a company that can still offer genuinely interesting tech challenges (not too much in terms of legacy systems) and some greenfield projects, and balance that with considered decision making and plenty of engineering resource. It rarely feels 'house on fire' busy - we get 10% time to work on new, interesting projects of our choice. It's a shame we don't get much time in person anymore as I hear the atmosphere is great when everyone is together. I'm hoping with the new flexibility and some engineers moving to hybrid, we still get to experience the G-R buzz. Comp i& benefits are also really great! Definitely market leading in comparison to the other opportunities I was exploring at the time.

Cons

Security is heavy which can occasionally be limiting, but even in the past 6 months I've seen some really positive movement here & various teams are dedicated to this. Apparently comms around RTO was a bit fuzzy - all seems to be ironed out now and colleagues seem happy enough
