In the beginning very nice... now it is horrible

Pros

Many contracted sites but you lose out on big money and vacation if you move from one site to the next. it's like you go back to the bottom even though you've been with the company ten years like I have.

Cons

They don't have an accountant to keep the books right; They are always messing up your time and a half pay; several people have been fired or have quit from the upper management; they only believe in disciplinary reports as oppossed to recognition for a job well done; run by former Law Enforcement bugs who think this is the police force but it's not; supervisory personnel who write up other supervisors????

Great pay but no future

Pros

Pay includes minimum of 8 hours overtime per week but 20 hours per week is easily obtainable.Sworn deputation as a Deputy Federal Marshal (so you won't lose law enforcement accreditation while in this job).

Cons

12 hour shifts plus commute leave no personal / family time. Job is only procedural - no independent thought or decision-making is allowed. This job is contractual with the Department of Justice. If you fall out of favor, you make be "taken off of the contract" with little or no recourse. There is no leadership here.

Pros

The pay was pretty decent. Overtime was almost always available. Great place to network from. Overall it was a very easy job.

Cons

You work in the elements, no exceptions. When individuals call out you are expected to stay. The hours do not line up with real world hours (4am-1pm, 1-9,9-4), by the time you are off work you are too tired to do anything or everything is closed. Though, night shift seems to work out well.
