      Pros

      Excellent salary and benefits. Chance to work on products that very few other companies make. Money is available for large projects. There is access to a lot of technology both on the development side and product side.

      Cons

      The size creates bureaucracy which is sometimes so unmanageable that you will have to give up on something. Managers are typically groomed to be "superior" to their subordinates. This can create a combative environment where managers feel threatened by talented employees.

      Pros

      The technology is very interesting and has immense potential. The engineers are extremely talented and fantastic people to work with and learn from.

      Cons

      Being a large company and in a regulated industry, there is a lot of process to get just about anything done. Process is necessary, but there needs to be a balance. Career growth is extremely slow and difficult for engineers. This is well known to management and there is a new process being rolled out to help engineers grow. Medical insurance for your spouse has a huge penalty if your spouse is employed. Coverage for your working spouse will cost twice as much if your spouse has the option for coverage at their employer.
