      Not a friendly place for older workers

      Pros

      Direct managers were great. Always helpful in directing you around the monstrous entity of GE. Looks good on a resume, well probably not any more.

      Cons

      Pay absolutely did not match my level of experience or level of that paid for similar role in other companies No bonus to make up for pitiful pay Way too time wasted learning the GE culture that does for your actually job function Zero, absolutely zero technical training or opportunities to go conferences that would actually improve my skills, just useless GE stuff Targeted elimination of older workers to cut their pension liabilities and health care cost.
