Pros

Inside. Easy work most of the time. Good co workers. Great benefits

Cons

Management has no clue about what's to do. They have so many people out on short term disability and expect the same amount of work to get done. And most Fridays 1-2 guys go home early or don't come in and the "coach" tells us it "CAN'T AFFECT PRODUCTION " are you serious!?!?!?!? In about to leave. It used to be halfway decent place to work till they hired a bunch of prior military men as supervisors. They want to control you like they are still on base( I was in the Marines). In the real world you can't treat grown, smart men like children. We all feel belittled. And when we say things are messed up the answer isn't to find a way to fix it its "well just keep schedule ". Good pay. Slave treatment. Treat your employees good and the business will succeed. "Happy employees are good employees " once they learn this it'll be nice .

Pros

The checks clear the bank. They do interesting work and have interesting products and have access to some of the best customers in the world. Mostly it's good people trying to get by in a total F up company.

Cons

It's corporate madness. They constantly play games with not just employees but customers alike. It's hard to believe that Edison's company has turned into such an evil corporation. They are constantly changing up things, doing this and that and never really focusing on providing a core product or service. Always gaming the system instead of just doing good work. You would swear these people in management would trip over a dollar to pick up dime. It is just that perverse. They pay well but then you are expected to work 45 to 55 hours per week. You are considered a slacker with hose ours. Some are know to work 80 to 120 hours a week. Some people live at that place. In most cased you are doing the job of one and 1/2 people at least.

Pros

really none, although i learned a lot about psychology and how management berates and covers themselves to fault the employee ( with no training )

Cons

too many to list, but here goes... anyone in the executive band; long hours; training and lack of documentation in supply chain; the yelling...; egos; Erie PA and the animositt between the true workers on the shop floor and management; did i mention Supply Chain? health insurance (or lack of it)
