Good chance your day will involve working with global teams Work life balance. come and go as you please as long as work is done For such a large company - 350K employees company works well. GE works is true 6 sigma/ lean and cost management - great management/ sharp guys at the top In a small town - zero traffic. Great place to come in late career and stake out your winter or permanent retirement home Mild winters

Highly matrixed org. Hard to build teams and relationships Manager/ individual contributor culture fosters a "us them" mentality Nuclear - industry is in a very deep trough right nowm - natural gas, fukashima, financing, regulatory issues.............. Limited work and line of sight to new work is years away. Cost control to maintain profitability is main focus right now - keep lights on until new work In a small town - near beach. Higher cost of living, limited activities unless you love the beach
