      Pros

      lots of learning if you are in the right group. Good senior management - very talented group of individuals. Doors are open for you to move across GE businesses, if you can find a suitable position. Good in-house training courses/facilities.

      Cons

      Those in middle management who have stagnated do not let others rise up. Avoid Project Management Office group in IT as the purpose of this group is to get as much attention as possible.

      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. Had a great relationship with direct manager. Very good about letting employees telecommute and work flex hours.

      Cons

      Upper management at GE Intelligent Platforms lacks proper communication flow-down. They often expect too much out of employees; not well staffed.
