Pros

The only pro is good benefits.

Cons

Upper management doesn’t care about you. Overwhelming workload Benefits are decreasing Undocumented overtime is the norm and is overlooked by management They hired a bunch of new employees and turned around and laid off the more tenured employees.

Pros

Pats ever so slightly above industry standard for customer service at least

Cons

Where do I begin? Lies, lies, lies. Management will tell you one thing and do another in front of you less than 10 minutes later. All the benefits that were there when I started in 2019 are gone. No more profit sharing, insurance has changed and it SUCKS, the company that brags about never having layoffs had mass exodus layoffs over this past year, only cares about shareholder profits. Todd Combs came in 2020 and the company changed almost overnight. Maybe instead of taking away benefits and raises for the bread and butter of your company (your front line employees) you just, ohhhh I dunno…don’t have. BILLIONS of shareholder profit? The year that we were told a max raise was 3% our CEO took millions in a raise. The software they use sucks and is constantly causing issues. Management will tell you there’s no exceptions for something and so that’s what you tell the customer and then if the customer pushes enough they’ll make the exception. No backbone, no support, no integrity. Very high amounts of favoritism. I once applied for a position within the company after making chairman’s gold that year and was told I was barely beat out by someone who had “Geico experience with scheduling” aka the person who took the seasonal role just wanted it back and the interviews were just for show. I asked how I could get experience to be the best candidate next time and she told me I could “shadow” am employee for a couple hours a week for a few weeks. I asked my supe and she laughed and said they don’t do that anymore, that it would rank my numbers to be off the phones for that long. I went above her and was told the same thing. So if you’re good at your job don’t expect to ever leave it for better. They’ll keep you right where they want you with whatever corporate response they have canned up at the time. The “diversity” is fake as well. I brought up numerous times that coworkers or management had opportunities to improve (they literally sent out an autism speaks snippet for autism awareness month. Autism speaks is a KNOWN ableist for profit company) it’s just all smoke and mirrors. Don’t be fooled by the compensation, it’ll make it hell to leave once you’re used to it.

Pros

Used to be a good company. Worked here for more than 6 years.

Cons

Laid off long term employees. People that have vast knowledge of insurance. Hired new IT people with no insurance knowledge. Lost in identity, the company’s management has become a joke. Company’s main revenue is still selling insurance, yet they want to become a tech company. I am leaving this company because of the leadership and management. Be careful if you consider your engineer career here. This CEO is notoriously known for not caring.
