Pros

* Great people to work with when on your team

Cons

* Workload has changed * Expectations have changed yearly * Teams "Re-organized" often (Which leads to majority of teams creating new processes and re-learning a functionality 6 other teams had worked on with no good core documentation system) * Expected to be an Analyst which has meant limited-development for many Engineers * Data-fixes & Bugs can be very stressful to look over with lack of oversight from management for better processes and documentation to reduce that strain. * Expect no acknowledgement for learning a system with no good documentation and fixing a 2 year bug, Because that's now how their ruler works. * A lot of the employees are starting to feel the stress with no future * Cutting costs impacting associates with no solutions * Draining environment

Pros

Remote work may be made available depends upon department/manager/director. Salaries are more marketable only at the expense of layoffs.

Cons

Merit review is based on "ranking" if you are not the best performer in your department, there's no raise you risk being not receiving a profit-sharing cash payout (if one is awarded). Those who don't perform in the top percentile risk being terminated. That's not an environment you want to work in or be a part of. The current merit process eliminates the "team" environment and replaces it with every man/woman for himself which is ripe for backstabbing, finger pointing and non-collaborative atmosphere.
