Pros

The pay, as a full time employee, is on par with what I expect for teach leads and sr devs

Cons

They micromanage you. They want you on camera so they can watch you. They force you to travel into their office in Maryland no matter where you are located. They ping you every 10 to 15 minutes for a progress update. They have no idea how to build decent software.

Refusal to pay for proper tooling Refusal to do things right No coordination between various aspects of engineer Security organization is out of control Encouraging practices that lead to tight coupling, high-touch manual processes, and fragility CTO is openly derisive of employees and labor in general CTO is on the Jack Welch plan: slash costs by making everything worse and then leave before the problems caused catch up to them.
