Pros

Good hourly wage, and the other employees were decent

Cons

Didn't have a structured intern program, so I often didn't have much to do. Mostly just sat around and googled things.

Pros

Base salary to train and start. Extensive training for one week. Professional offices.

Cons

Highly micromanaged down to the minute. Everyone is a robot. This is purely telemarketing with redundancy targeting mid market small business owners. You are not allowed to have out cell phones, the management is constantly watching you and running metrics and critiquing. It killed my personality and I am GOOD in sales but couldn't handle the stress and micromanagement to that degree.

GENERATIONAL GROUP Response

I read your comment and felt the need to respond. First, sorry to hear that you had this type of experience. I have been working at Generational Equity for over 6 years and I’m currently in the same Senior Business Advisor role as you were. While no working environment is perfect, I can honestly say that for me, Generational has been an excellent place to work. In fact, I would say that this has been the best sales experience in my 30-year career. I hope wherever you land next will be a positive experience for you. And, if anyone is considering Generational Equity and wants to get an insider's opinion, I'm going to provide my number and name here: Blake 214-363-3167.
