Pros

Hours and flex schedule are great. PTO is pretty good and for the most part if you perform your metrics based responsibilities, management leaves you alone. The mechanics of the actual job are very simple. If you are a "certain kind" of sales person, the money can be good.

Cons

Training is almost nonexistent. You are in a classroom for seven days and then placed in a sink or swim environment. They speak of teamwork and helping your fellow SBA, but the metrics are such to where that is almost impossible. You almost have to have an everyman for himself attitude to excel. Performing at a good money making level is tricky, and supervisory guidance is only given to those that intuitively know which questions to ask, so quite a few talented people get fired CUZ they don't get attention. Database management does not exist except for those that have already achieved success, so most of the callers are forced to wade unnecessarily through garbage leads that have been beat up beyond recognition. There is also a very annoying micro managing cloud that is sublime, and management will never admit to having.

Pros

There are many helpful managers who provide support when needed without micro-managing. Allowed flexible hours and time off when needed (was able to work while going to school). Senior Management is focused on doing things in ethical and moral ways. Professional environment and people.

Cons

I have no complaints about my time working at Generational Equity.
