Poor work life balance and long hours

This is a horrible company for a hardworking and ambitious professional, as working hard and achieving results will take you nowhere but exhaustion and burn out. The more you work, and the more results you achieve, the more it's demanded from you with no appreciation/recognition at all. They advertise themselves as a "fast track career" company but people don't get promoted as they should. Until they resign and suddenly everything is possible. Leadership treats people as mere resources, something they just use to achieve a goal. There's absolutely no training nor knowledge base/transfer. Only a few people actually know what they are doing. Those people are not given the opportunity to share their knowledge as they are overloaded with work. If you take a sick day, the company will chase you and call you on your personal phone to make sure you know they are watching you. Calls to your personal phone number after working hours are common. Development plans are absent and 1:1s are a waste of time as your manager will do nothing towards your career development, nor will provide you with constructive feedback. During Covid19 the company did nothing but putting more pressure on their employees and demanding more from them. No extra compensation nor measures were taken during this time. A lot of people left the company due to that.
