Pros
People - GEP's true strength lies in it's people, across levels. It's their passion that has helped GEP come where it is today & same people shall help GEP grow further.
Culture - Employee friendly culture helps GEP provide a flexible work atmosphere to achieve great results.
Opportunities - There are ample of opportunities for those who are willing to grab it, all that is required is right attitude, approach & perseverance to make things happen. Efforts seldom go unnoticed and every contribution whether big or small is recognized.
Core Values - GEP is one of those very few companies for which values are not just a marketing gimmick, they truly are the company's character which shows through actions from each individual.
Transport - Not many companies of this size provide transport facility to it's employees. Though this facility comes at a cost & has some limitations, providing air conditioned vehicles at monthly employee of INR 800-1600 for home/central pick up or drop is negligible. This is the amount that many spend just for ordering pizzas these days.
Cafeteria - Yes, GEP does have a full-time (almost) cafeteria with decent options & they do serve meals at subsidized rates which is extremely helpful. The quality of food served is not bad by any standards, however there is room for improvement.
There are lot of other things like open door environment, medical benefits, recreational facilities (TT, Carrom, PlayStation etc..), parental insurance (optional) and regular fun events which truly make GEP a beautiful company.
Cons
Location - Though there is a robust transport system in place, location (outskirts of Mumbai) is a downside as sometimes travelling does end up causing unwanted stress.
Shifts - Though this is not something that GEP can help, given the fact that majority of the business comes from North America & Europe. Working in the 2nd shift in client facing roles does lead to some dissent. Fortunately, there are flexible shift options & work from home arrangements which give some relief.
