Pros

The pay was reasonable. Christmas bonus was ok. Can't really think of anything else.

Cons

Management doesn't pay attention to issues. Some people can get away with things easier than others. zero appreciation for some staff. Promise growth but it rarely happens.

Pros

The jobs great hours are unbeatable

Cons

Managment has been absent from our shop 70 persent of the time. They seem to be too busy opening up there own busness between the regular gfl hours leaving no one at the shop exsept the machnaic and employees im sure our ceo patrick wouldnt approve of that. When they are at the shop i see them spending most of there time on youtube watching baceball of looking up products for there new busness venture. Are shop culture as taken a serious hit and people are not happy with how are manager and team lead seem to not care about there gfl commitment anymore and plan to quit as soon as there new busness takes off (it opened on the weekend. His managment style it that of an immature bully its impossible to sit down and work out your issues with someone who can't do that with out raising his voice witch turns into a yelling match (almost every time) this creats unresolved issues witch turn to angry employees that are afrade to speak up being in fear of loosing are jobs or being bullyed by the one man we should trust the most are manager. He has a history of pushing employees out the door when hes had enough of them and i feel like thats the most unperfetional move you can make. These two are doing alot of shaddy things and while on compamy time this we know weather there paying themselves is a different story we have a case of missing time card and we have had one employee admit that he went over and worked with them on gfl time. I am finding that more and more we are all waiting for paper work more and are safty meeting are starting later or super short all signs that our managment needs some serious review.#westerncanada
