      Avoid at all cost if you are a fresh grad - local banks might be better even

      - most of the time, nice teammates

      Cons

      - low pay compared to other firms - bad culture, bad wlb. External hires are preferred over internal promotions, leadership team is lost and incompetent. Scholars that were promoted are clueless on what to do - Alot of layoffs disguised as PIP. But should be pip'ing upper management instead

      Good work life balance, decent pay

      Cons

      Politics is awful, very toxic and competitive-for-nothing scholars. People who are there for years not contributing to financial returns but just because they cozy up w someone higher up. Impunity for disastrous financial investments that not yet been written off in the system.
