Pros

Great company to start or continue a career in IT. The company rewards hard work and productivity. Training is a focus and improving. Promotion from within is a priority. The company is growing and actively looking for dedicated employees to be future managers and grow with it. I love the "go-live" celebrations and other company sponsored events. Teams are fun and coworkers are both knowledgeable and happy to help new people.

Cons

Software can be difficult to deal with and sometimes client projects are demanding. Employees need to be available to support project deadlines and client needs. Parking downtown Bend is a little of a pain.

Pros

The management team really does care about its employees. Good hardworking people. The company is always changing and improving. Vibrant and active environment. Pay is good.

Cons

Downtown parking is a pain. No health insurance.

A great place to work

Pros

I like the work because I get to use my talent and my managers and co-worker are smart, hard-working and care. The software serves an industry with challenging, diverse needs. The solution created uses the latest technology standards and I am surprised at how powerful it is. My job of solving problems is a lot more fun with the software tools they give me. Most people do work pretty hard. On my team, we average 44 hours a week which includes occasional periods where we have to work more to help a client. I am most impressed by the authenticity of the employees. They really mean and do what they say. They really are friends and care. For example, there was an employee on another team who started having some health issues and could not work his full schedule. His manager changed his position to part-time so he could keep his job even though he did not have enough leave time. I am constantly asked my opinion on how to do the work and some of my ideas get implemented. Most teams seem to create several new improvement ideas every week. Anonymous employee engagement surveys put the level of engagement in the top quarter of all employers. Office politics are non-existent. Negative people find an exit quickly and become Glassdoor reviewers.

Cons

As with every workplace, there are always little annoyances here and there. I wish the hiring process would improve. You can often tell within a week or so that someone just doesn’t fit. I wish we never worked with the misfits. For example, in a recent departure, a coworker was fired after just a few months for sleeping at his desk and then was angry about getting let go. Really? We should be able to screen out more mistakes.
