      Toxic Culture within HR

      Pros

      Most of the people are amazing outside of HR.

      Cons

      Culture within HR has become toxic. Under new leadership, with no regard for expertise and ability to influence and partner well. New HR leader has come in and decreased HR morale to an all time low, where most are concerned about their own jobs and not able to focus clearly on priorities. Culture was great until new inexperienced leader was out in place, and then he pushed the best leader of HR out, then retired to have the newest toxic leader promote into his current role.

      Good WLB: managable workload for diligent people, and low (if any) workload for pretenders

      Cons

      poor management: most of time spent on communication instead of actual work, low incentives for people to work hard (difficult to get recognition or promote), low cost for people to skip work or blame others. poor benefits: 10day PTO for the first year, insurance is not good
