Pros

Good people and company culture. Opportunity to work with world class clients. Some really smart people in management that clients really respect.

Cons

Be prepared for the hours - the planning happens during the week and the work happens on the weekends. Training is available but not prioritized by management.

Pros

While I was attending college this job was great because I work at night and I was able to concentrate on both school and work. My manager was very down to earth and this job allowed me to network with a lot of other people because I was going out and being social with other venue managers. You are executing and out in the field 3-4 nights a week and the rest of the paperwork I was able to do at home. It was also nice to be able to have another part time or even a full time job during the day because I was only working at night.

Cons

The challenges would be that working at night can be very exhausting. Sometimes it was also difficult because I wasn't able to get more hours that I wanted and grow within the company because all the manager positions were filled with managers who I knew never wanted to quit.

Pros

Fun working events and promotions.

Cons

Many work hours go unpaid. Hostile management practices are not dealt with. Submitting expenses is a nightmare and structured so employees won't submit them. Slow to hire new employees when needed. Problems attempt to be solved after the fact. Paperwork/reporting process is not efficient and wastes time and energy.
