Pros

The science and tech are pretty darn incredible, making the product easy to get behind Lots of really great people to work with

Cons

It’s not going to be good for the company if leadership doesn’t figure out how to understand day to day operations. Laying people off without a full analysis of the repercussions and gaps created, and instead choosing to let people go based on whether or not their senior leader has a good impression of them. On top of that, selling over a million worth of shares while telling employees in an all hands “you just need to buckle down and dedicate yourself to this” is so distasteful and demotivating.

The mission is AMAZING - detecting cancer early is an awesome ability and has potential to save many

Cons

Upper management is wildly out of touch with the day-to-day. If you wish to be promoted within the CX organization you need to join a certain church and take on all responsibilities outside of your job title/description for years before being considered.
