      Pros

      Flexible and willing to train people on (some) new disciplines. Be careful of this, however, as you may find yourself pigeon holed into a discipline you did not expect or desire. (ex. Industrial Hygiene within the Environmental Department).

      Cons

      I found the Environmental Department to be a hostile work environment that went unchecked, even after several complaints were made with management and HR from multiple individuals. Office politics resulted in company resources being stripped from my department. I fought to get these resources back for over 6 months, and they were reinstated the day I handed in my 2 week notice.
