Pros

Excellent employee benefits, work hours, and paid time off. When I first entered the industry, they had a 20-day mandatory training period, which was top notch. Much of my success today was from the great start GSK provided me.

Cons

They no longer, or at least as of 8 years ago, had discontinued with the 20-day training program. Data Services work has predominately been outsourced to India, leaving little opportunity for NA growth.

Pros

Excellent People and integration in GSK starting to finally materialise with opportunities starting to become available. New management starting to introduce modern approaches.

Cons

Change Management is slow and upper management can be hesitant to make decisions, therefore missing opportunities. Alignment of reward scheme across the organisation is important to show parity across the organisation.
