Pros
Working in IT, I had the pleasure to work with a lot of knowledgeable people from whom I learned a lot. The clients whom I supported were also top-notch scientists who were glad to have our help. Great benefits, pay was very good, local management/team leads were very good and always had team personnel's best interests at heart.
Cons
Upper (corporate) management seemed to change direction too often. It seemed as if the moment we were comfortable performing work with certain tools, processes and infrastructure in place, senior management would change things up. Also, numerous reorganizations cost a lot of people their jobs.
