Supportive management and opportunities, but insurance needs improvement
Pros
- Reasonable scope of responsibility - Tuition Reimbursement - Supportive management - Market competitive pay - Annual merit increases - Opportunities to learn from colleagues in other areas - Professional environment that can also be fun - Decent 401K contributions - GXO has a culture of community service - we have regular opportunities for volunteering - Work/life balance is definitely reasonable based on your role - GXO still works on DEI initiatives to support a diverse workforce - Vision benefits are pretty good
Cons
- Health insurance is not that great - the cheaper PPO now limits coverage to a specific network (High Performance Network) of doctors that are not available in all areas. I had to change doctors (for me and my spouse/children) to avoid paying the higher tier PPO costing an additional ~$400 a month. - Dental insurance is not that great - base tier is max $1,000 coverage annually. Spouse needed a root canal and we paid $2,500 out of pocket after insurance. Upgraded plan is max $2,000 coverage annually. - Internal GROW program does not usually result in preferred consideration for a role
