They make all kinds of promises and then fail to back them up. Hired as a temp, was told I was doing great and was promised that I would be hired full time. The minute I hit the mark of being able to be hired, they went back on all of their promises. They weren't even man enough to tell me that I wouldn't be hired on, they just sent a text message. To make things better, this happened the week after my father died, and they promised bereavement pay, but then changed their mind about that too. And, the day after they fired me, they were advertising a job fair and offering $5 an hour less than they paid me as a temp. Now it all makes sense.
