Pros

some of the most talented and most devoted (to our users) employees i've ever worked with.

Cons

you have to 'get' the community / users to be really be impactful here. This is not a typical 'internet service'. Gaia succeeds because we built a multi-layered deep experience that is so valuable to users that we can monetize that. It's a complex thing to do well. Location is very far south - hard to live in SF and do this job.

Pros

-New lunch system with myeatclub.com has increased employee satisfaction and decreased company expenses and environmental waste (lunches are paid for by the company) -Leadership has an amazing track record at other companies--its the perfect breath of fresh air and fire at everyone's heels to wake everyone up--I definitely feel confident in their new direction and it makes a lot of sense (not just for the company, but for how the market currently is) -Hardwork, passion, and talent are rewarded with more responsibilities -Foosball breaks are super fun -Dogs allowed! Bow wow!

Cons

-Health insurance is a little awkward and confusing -Morale seems a little low for the employees that made it through the layoffs, but high for fresh blood
