This is an unhappy workplace. Period.

Pros

The team really cares about customers being successful and work with purpose.

Cons

Everyone is thinking about leaving or is already applying elsewhere. The work environment is miserable, and there's constant fear of layoffs. Favoritism allows incompetent leaders to thrive. It's a sad situation for a once great place to work.

Pros

Gainsters genuinely know & follow our company values, including "Shoshin," meaning always seeing any challenge with fresh eyes. The willingness to listen means that new directions to grow have always felt available to me, and that means that I feel that I can be as inventive as I want to be, every day.

Cons

We work in a high-change industry, with leaders who are highly sensitive to and open to change. There are structures in place to help the organization align around our latest objectives (e.g., our annual One Page Strategic Plan, and consistent reviews of it), but we are never just keeping up the same ol' rhythm. You need a marathoner's perspective, with an eye for rest, because it's too easy to approach each challenge like a sprint, and run out your fuel.
