Pros

Gainsight's driving force is "to prove you can win in business while being human-first". Human-first applies to our customers, to our prospects, to our communities, and - importantly - to our employees. Gainsight is so good at not only sharing values that help us meet that goal, but LIVING the values that help us meet that goal. At Gainsight, I am a person before I am an employee. The people I sell to are people before they are prospects. It helps make human connections. It also helps enforce a good work-life balance.

Cons

Gainsight is currently going through a phase requiring a lot of change. It's definitely exciting to be part of. Not all changes are able to help us achieve our goals. That's definitely not a Gainsight specific problem, but the phase we're in means you need to be ready to roll with the punches.

Pros

Incredible company culture fueled by an amazing CEO/C-Suite that uphold their values more than any company I have worked for. I have learned and grown so much in my time at Gainsight because of the coaches and leaders I am surrounded with. I went from a transactional selling role to being a very strategic seller in a matter of months. Regardless of where I end up, I will forever be grateful of my time at Gainsight.

Cons

Not as competitive pay as other comparable roles in the industry and upward mobility can be slow and challenging due to current environment.

Pros

Gainsight is a fantastic place to work, surrounded by the best people in SaaS. Everyone here is solution-oriented and always willing to help each other, striving for a common goal. Our product is the strongest in the market, and it’s incredibly motivating to see how powerful our solution is across the entire customer journey. Working with some of the best customers around and hearing their success stories is truly inspiring. It makes a difference working for a company that helps others build stronger relationships with their customers, especially in a tough tech climate. The community Gainsight has built through events (like Pulse) and thought leadership connects the top minds in Customer Success, and being a part of their career growth is hugely motivating for me on a personal level. Gainsight’s dedication to fostering business durability and educating tomorrow’s leaders makes it an exciting place to be. We have a very collaborative environment and supportive culture, making Gainsight a place where you can thrive personally and professionally. Our values truly are #1 in everything we do, not all companies can say that.

Cons

While we face challenges in shifting market perceptions and adapting to constant changes, these experiences offer invaluable learning opportunities. Having big audacious goals and adapting to market shifts or acquisitions means I get to learn so much about how a business operates and how to challenge myself to grow. I realize that these challenges have definitely contributed to significant personal and professional development, making my journey at Gainsight rewarding.
