Nice facility Nice people Family owned business so you can feel like home

Cons

Not a lot of career advancement Lacks commitment to diversity, especially African Americans. There are no ERGs. Gallagher is not a good place for African Americans. There’s not one senior leader. Also, I have seen many blacks either leave voluntarily or involuntarily.

Not as laden with inane paperwork as some of the other consulting firms.

Cons

AJG preaches and promotes the "Gallagher Way" - too bad it is completely meaningless as they do not adhere to 90% of the tenets in my opinion - definitely don't appreciate loyalty. The local office was very cliquish - good news if you're a "frat boy", not so good for anyone else.
