Pros

The people. Colleagues are generally highly capable, intelligent, driven, and fun to work with. The company is strong at attracting and hiring distinctive talent. There is significant potential, but it’s not being fully realised by Gallup.

Cons

Concerned that some colleagues may leave soon due to the workload (not just volume but type of work and intensity), lacking growth / development opportunities and the compensation structure (no bonuses, generally not performance-motivating). There are some people who seem to carry the whole region and act as anchors for others. Many people remain primarily because of their peers, while overall morale in EMEA is quite low. Very worried as there would certainly be a domino effect.

Pros

I have been at Gallup for a while and what continues to inspire me is our mission. The work we do truly matters. We help people understand and use their strengths, partnering with leaders who genuinely want to create better workplaces, and seeing the impact of that work come to life. As a consultant, the variety is one of my favorite aspects of the job. No two days are the same, and I get to work with organizations across industries who are committed to real, meaningful change. The culture is another major reason I’ve stayed. I’m fortunate to work in a beautiful office surrounded by talented, supportive colleagues who care deeply about doing work that helps people thrive. The environment is collaborative, energizing, and grounded in Gallup’s values. I have never been bored! I am always learning and growing and that makes a big difference in my life and overall wellbeing.

Cons

Like any consulting role, the work can be fast-paced and complex. Expectations are high, but they come with a strong sense of purpose and support since Gallup hires talented people that will work through things together.
