Pros

Autonomy Nothing else I can think of

Cons

Being constantly mismanaged Being used for your ideas Getting no public recognition for your work Second-tier: Not the MBB by any stretch of the imagination Mismanaged brand. Employee engagement takes precedence over historical Gallup legacy Being misled constantly (e.g. on promotions) Just a dishonest company and starts at the top

Pros

Good first Job to get your experience for a real job.

Cons

Lot of hours. Managers are terrible. Make you work way too many hours and do not anything to make themselves look good. Managers are only staff that receive recognition for the work their employees do. Managers only care that they look good to CEO and other mgmt so they can take paid company fancy fishing trips while employees work 60 to 70 hrs weeks as a normal. Managers party while employee suffers. They call dumb managers MVP and they don't know anything about softwares. Do smart thing and don't waste time here. Managers lie about culture and promise whatever they can to get you hired. Most incompetent manager I've ever worked for in softwares.

Gallup Technology is no exception to other technology environments where at times it is fast-paced and intense. While 60 -70 hour weeks are definitely not the norm (our timesheets can confirm), there are times when longer hours are required to meet a big project timeline and we’re proud of the dedication, commitment and talent our technology team puts forth to help our company and our clients grow. Our management team wants nothing more than to help set up each person for success, give them the recognition they deserve and provide a great culture where associates can thrive. With tenure of our team being at 2 to 25 years and an average turnover of 10-12%, our engagement data is strong and the work we do is exciting. Best of luck in your future careers!
