Pros

Gallup is a widely known with a respected brand. The facilities are beautiful with clean, comfortable and neat offices. The recognition shows are absolutely epic!

Cons

Over the years, Gallup has evolved from an industry leading research and development organization to a high stress, bottom-line driven and under staffed work environment. There is an outflow of young highly motivated and very intelligent key employees becoming industry leaders in other high profile companies. Under recent policies, vacation, holidays, or sick leave, are to be made up in overtime. Strengths-based management is sold and championed but doesn't seem to be widely applied. Recognition is generally forced and of little substance; championing those choose to work inappropriate hours for the good of the "tribe". Family time is a second priority to work time regardless of the hour or occasion.
