Pros

Good brand, strong products, people used to be valued..strengths philosophy is a great one and applicable for life beyond Gallup

Cons

Right now there are only downsides. The global leadership seems to have no idea about Asia and neither does the Asian leadership. there is arrogance without depth in the manner clients are handled. The philosophy is now one of sucking up to the right people rather than doing a job well. Unbelievable levels of employee insecurity, everyone is job hunting.

Pros

Great brand name, especially with polling and in the US - but how long can this be sustained? Talented colleagues and close interpersonal relationships - but most are leaving or have left... Great research tools such as engagement models and strengths - but we don't apply correctly to ourselves

Cons

Poor career progression Blatant politicking Poor decision-making at senior management level Lack of understanding of on-the-ground issues Cost-saving, at all costs Inability to customize system changes to local cultures/contexts Not practising what we preach

Pros

good stepping stone great working environment passionate colleagues who put their heart and soul into their work gallup used to advocate a a flexible working schedule and decent compensation plan : pay for performance (at the beginning)

Cons

over the years, the mission and purpose of the company has been defouled by an unappreciative top management with its : ruthless slashing of pay zero transparency the company that does not practise what it preaches : selling employee engagement products when its own associates are overworked, underpaid and not appreciated.
