Pros

* Campus is beautiful and well maintained * Plenty of great, hard-working engineers * The attached child care facility is the best you will find in the Midwest.

Cons

* Pay is far below market rate, especially in Omaha * New leadership prioritizes profit over people * What was once a great culture has entirely disappeared * No career path, no upward mobility If you are looking for a great long-term career, you will not find it here anymore, unless you are already very senior or living in San Francisco.

Pros

It's a job Not much else

Cons

If you're good at what you do, they'll work you like a horse until you are absolutely burnt out. Asking for support or an adjustment in your workload doesn't amount to much. Everything is "urgent." Leaders and managers go through a motions of pretending to care about you as a person, your career here, your wellbeing- but if nothing actually changes, then it's all just performative. Year over year our own engagement scores are wildly low, but nothing changes. Now they've shifted to the narrative of "you need to own your own engagement" - shifting the blame to workers and dodging accountability. There are some great people, but there are even more people who treat you with disrespect. They probably are nice people outside of Gallup, but the culture created here makes people feel burnt out, impatient, and irritable. The base pay is lower than industry standard. There is a bonus structure, but its a disincentive when working more hours amounts to lower pay for those additional hours.

Pros

If you enjoy going into the office their location is nice

Cons

Many of these reviews are probably not from an employee's own desire to leave a review, more likely from their pushes and emails telling all employees to review them. Safe bet to ignore the sudden rush of 5-stars and read the 4 and below if you want to be aware of any potential red flags. The tech side can be quite outdated. Most of the long-term developers still here are stuck maintaining lots of legacy code so not much new innovation is occurring. No sign of picking up stride to catch up, last I was aware they were actually falling even further behind as they started to lose some of their key talents that they relived a lot upon. Pay is very low in comparison, 40-50% raise immediately after leaving. Firmly encouraged not to discuss wages with others as they're well aware many are quite a bit below market rate.
