Pros

This was my first real job out of undergrad. The pay was decent, and the staff takes adequate steps to ensure you are trained well enough to do the job. There is limited upward mobility but the job is largely predictable and you'll know what to expect.

Cons

Limited upward and outward mobility. Meaning it is difficult to attain a higher role through just merit. Those who attained those positions seemed to be with the company for almost 10 years, and the compensation did not reflect the effort it takes to attain such a position. Branching out to other departments is largely frowned upon as well unless you know somebody. Generally speaking, if you want to be at this job long term, you have to be comfortable with complacency and doing the exact same work over and over again.

Pros

Gallup is a great place to work. My best friends work there. We focus on strengths, I get to be myself. There is no dress code, a great cafeteria and gym, and we are three days in the office. I love being in the office to see friends, drink the amazing coffee and soak in the awesome culture and energy.

Cons

This isn't a con, but is a fact: We work really hard. We also celebrate our successes/work hard play hard. But , like, don't apply if you don't love working. We are super achievers and you will be left in the dust if you think you are going to coast and not do much. Apply here if you love to work.
