Pros

-if your hobbies are literally video games, this is it. You get to talk to customers about games and even see so many different games and systems that come in the door. -You also get first pick of the stuff. -10% Employee discount and 15% for assistant managers and above. -Lax environment. It can get busy but it's very comfortable. -Not being part of management. There really isn't anything managerial wise. If I can think of one, it would be that the paper work isn't too bad.

Cons

-Their pay isn't very good and corporate will listen to what you'll say, but they will not budge unless you're extremely qualified and kill it on your interviews. -No paid time off or vacation time. -Corperate is unorganized -Management roles are stressful. Since you're salary, you have to be available 24/7 to messages and calls.

Pros

Part time hours for those who want that kind of work.

Cons

A customer physically pushed me and nothing was done about it. The manager told me I could not take my prescription medication without a doctor's note. Claiming to be educated when it comes to these matters, yet when I exhibit clear signs of CPTSD (which I had already disclosed that I struggle with) I am told that I MUST be over-medicating. This business is not disability friendly. Other employees will take responsibility for your accomplishments. If you decide that their nasty floor needs to be mopped, be aware that your coworker will throw you under the bus if that hurts their feelings. Also if your manager forgets to do inventory counts, hope you don't work at night. It will be a 100 percent you problem only to find the numbers will get fudged at the end, making all the work you did utterly meaningless. 0 out of 10, do not recommend especially for those with disabilities.

Pros

You get to work with some pretty cool people. Spending your time around video games and consoles is nice. You can borrow a small number of items at a time.

Cons

Management is seriously lacking. Pay is rock bottom. You won't go full time.
