Pros
My direct supervisor is amazing and is so incredibly supportive. She is obviously very passionate about this work and wants us all to succeed. Most of the clinicians I've consulted with or just spoken too are great as well. I also have some great clients. We get 2 weeks vacation per year plus 8 days of discretionary time. Benefits are pretty average but adequate. Generally a positive work environment.
Cons
I am disabled and have had a terrible time getting the accommodations I need. These things go through the person above my direct supervisor who is not a nice person. It's been 3 months since I requested accommodations and still don't have anything concrete. It is clear that she is entirely ignorant to what a disabled individual experiences and needs. This is especially concerning as my main disability is psychiatric and we work in mental health.
