Pros

The environment is fun, friendly and helpful to new employees. A vast difference from Mervyn's buying office, which was a churn and burn situation.

Cons

Career pathing may be limited due to the recent downsizing; much more competitive to make it to manager level.

Pros

Great clothing discount; employees get 50% off. But that's about it. If you like working in a catty and sorority-like atmosphere, then it's great!

Cons

Horrible horrible work culture. Upper management does not know what they are doing. People are superficial and bitchy. Don't go there!

Pros

There is a great employee discount, and if you do a good job, management will give you as many hours as they can.

Cons

Gap, Inc does not give raises. At least not impressive ones. If you want more money, you should definitely go somewhere else!
