Incompetent management, management that constantly lies, trucks are in terrible condition and are unsafe, paychecks are not on time. They send people out on the road in street clothes, no uniforms. No portable radios. So when the messenger gets out of the truck there's no communication between the driver and messenger. Very unsafe. Very unprofessional.

Autocratic management that is has a militaristic power structure. Uneven middle and upper management compounds the problem. Garda purchased AT Systems in the spring of 2007 and within 8 months had dismantled the sales teams by having all services sold by the account reps, rather than a team approach, where specialists concentrated on market segments. Laid off 40% of staff and sales. Garda spent too much buying AT Systems and now can’t upgrade the poorer performing locations.
