Pros

Nice colleague and good pay

Cons

For AOEM department, the work hour per day is 10~14. No work-life balance. Sometimes, you need to work on Saturday.

Garmin encourages work-life balance for all associates. There are times when associates may have to work beyond normal hours to meet critical project milestones or deliverable, but this is not the norm. As a current associate of Garmin, I would encourage you to share your concerns with the HR team. - Sara Slocum, HR Team Leader

Pros

Working with good technology. Well funded and buys what is needed to do the job right. Treats workers well and pays well. In the Auckland, New Zealand office good culture so enjoyable place to work.

Cons

If there is an easy way and difficult way to do something Garmin will always pick the difficult way. Very procedure driven and head office a bit prim and proper. When the New Zealand team successfully developed new product markets that the USA team had not been able too the USA team then took over ownership of those products markets taking the fun out of them.
