Pros

The people and the culture at Garmin is exceptional. Great work life balance and the benefits are superb. 3weeks of PTO starting out and more vacation can be earned through years of service.

Cons

The only bad thing I have to say is that sometimes working at a large company can have its drawbacks like having so many levels of management.

Pros

health benefits, 401K & 75% matching up to 10% of your contribution, free workout room, cafeteria, garden/fountain and walking paths, onsite software and soft skill training opportunities, meditation rooms, corporate discounts, while the m/f ratio is 80/20, I have never seen or felt any gender discrimination

Cons

you are one of many - feel like a cog, little career advancement opportunity, low salary (benefits are great, but for the younger, healthy and non-parent employees, they don't really get used), lots of engineers/type A personalities - communication is poor, have seen some talent hoarding by supervisors rather than putting them up for other positions
