      Pros

      Garmin creates great products and it helped achieve good sales results with good things to sell. Most of the people that I worked with were very kind and always willing to help.

      Cons

      It was a company that was learning to be a global company. So, there were a few silos that wanted to over control.

      Pros

      My job was to do software module testing for aviation products. Many interns in Aviation had similar roles. - Gives interns same responsibilities as full-time associates - Great work-life balance, competitive pay, interns accrue PTO - Voted one of the best intern program by many groups - Dedicated mentors to get interns up to speed

      Cons

      - Monotonous work in testing sometimes - No communication between two teams, interns are isolated on specific projects No major cons

      Pros

      The people whom I worked under were all very nice people and were always willing to lend a hand. There's very little work drama, which is great. Garmin prides itself in its work life culture and it's great that during the short time that I was there, they held many company events that brought people together.

      Cons

      depending on what team you get put on, some days can feel pretty isolating. Since teams are naturally separated (physically), if you get stuck in a small team, it can get really quiet on most days.
