      Pros

      Garmin has an awesome environment at their headquarters in Olathe. The team leaders / management all started as engineers which makes work a lot easier instead of business majors being managers. Great benefits and they take care of their employees.

      Cons

      It's in Kansas. Not much in Kansas. A little too far from KC to be traveling too regularly but about 40 miles away.

      1. Most people are friendly. 2. International team work.

      Cons

      1. Pay is low 2. Depends on team. May need to work overtime very often but there is little compensation and reward. 3. Factory-style workplace. Boss in Taiwan is mainly reponsibile for production, not R&D. He tends to focus on cost reduction. Your benefits may be sacrificed. 4. Need to go to office by 8am. Earlier than the average in this industry. 5. Higher-ups hope you to learn and do everything.
