Women: be prepared to work 10x harder than any man on the team to get recognized. Then be prepared to be resented by your colleagues for it. Good luck obtaining sufficient mentoring, by the way. If you are the only woman on your team (which is likely), be prepared to go days without anyone talking to you or attempting to collaborate with you. Your team members will spend a lot of time together in the office, and you will be excluded, from meetings and otherwise. You will have to explicitly ask to be included and it will wear on you over time. I am so disappointed in this company's failure in this respect, especially since they advertise diversity and inclusion measures. There is a severe lack of women in the aviation segment in particular, and the gray beard management is not helping to attract more.
Also, the PTO is abysmal. No separate sick is honestly embarrassing. I am not a lead but I also find it unfair that leads can't choose to work remotely. Everyone should be able to take advantage of the hybrid schedule if their job duties allow for it.
