      Garmin as a Company

      Pros

      Garmin has a prowess that beseeches all. What fortune 500 company doesn't? There are two beasts to look for when comparing Garmin to other opportunities. One are you working for GARMIN, or are you working for their call center. If you are working for the first, you will have all the luxuries a well groomed employee could possibly fathom. If you are working for the second, you will most likely get a bone thrown from the table every now and then. Benefits are amazing, pay is sub-standard, appreciation is non-existent in branches.

      Cons

      No communication in the Call Centers. Rich family and greener grass in the HQ. Lofty promises of raises and bonuses if numbers are met. A company that totes zero debt, has lacking evidence of proper employee distribution.

      Pros

      Good 401K and health benefits. Staff is friendly and respectful. Decent work life balance. Not much to add. Need to reach 20 words goal.

      Cons

      No job growth. No innovation. It seems the management here believes in just repackaging the same devices over and over again into new plastics and shove it out.

      Pros

      - I am lucky to be in a very nice team. My Project manager is quite amazing. - Good place to start your career with - I am learning a lot and the team is very talented

      Cons

      - Location and the horrible pay doesnt retain many non-midwest ppl in the company. - Very few ppl stay for more than 2 years in the company. - Stingy environment can be annoying at times..
